Performance Coaching
Monthly coaching that fits around your life, not the other way around. Personalised training, mental skills work, gym programming, and regular check-ins, all built around what you're actually trying to do. Whether that's racing, getting faster, or just enjoying the bike more. Everything runs through TrainingPeaks, structured plans, progress tracking, proper analysis.
Six weeks of planning built around your event. L'Étape, London to Brighton, a sportive, whatever you are targeting. Personalised plan through TrainingPeaks, session feedback as you train, and a review every week. Route analysis, fuelling strategy, strength work alongside. All remote, all tailored to your level. Arrive ready, not just hoping to finish.
Coaching with One to Ones
The Bronze, Silver and Gold plans include everything from Monthly Coaching, with added in-person sessions to apply your training directly.
Face-to-face coaching without a big weekly commitment. Two in-person sessions a month, 90 minutes each, led by Matt. On-bike work mostly, with strength and conditioning where it helps. Fully personalised training through TrainingPeaks between sessions. For riders who want proper coaching contact alongside a structured plan, at a pace that fits round work and family.
Our most popular option. Four in-person sessions a month, 90 minutes each, scheduled around your life. Mostly on-bike work with strength and conditioning where it helps, all aligned to what you are working towards. Fully personalised training through TrainingPeaks. For riders who want consistent technical development, event preparation, or a proper build towards a target.
The most hands-on coaching we offer. Eight in-person sessions a month, scheduled around your life. Mostly on-bike work, with strength and conditioning where it helps. 90-minute rides, led by Matt, built around your goals. Fully individualised training through TrainingPeaks. For riders chasing real development, performance gains, or a specific target. Consistent support, proper structure.
Event Preparation
-
Six weeks of focused preparation for one event. L'Étape, London to Brighton, a sportive, a first race. All levels.
Starts with a consultation. Phone, video, or in person if you are local. We go through the event, your fitness, and what your weeks actually look like.
From there, a personalised plan in TrainingPeaks, built around the demands of the event and the hours you have. Four hours a week upwards. Indoors in TrainingPeaks Virtual or out on the road.
Leave a note on how a session went and you get feedback on it in TrainingPeaks. Then a written review at the end of each week. What went well, what is changing, what is coming next. The plan gets rebuilt around illness, work, travel, and how you are responding to the load.
A strength programme runs alongside the bike work, with starting loads and a rule for when to add weight. Send a video of a lift and we will look at your form.
Before the event, a route breakdown. Climbs, descents, exposed sections, where it is won and lost. Fuelling and hydration numbers for the day. Afterwards, a debrief, recovery guidance, and your training data stays with you.
All remote. If you want a coach beside you, add a one to one session or look at Bronze, Silver and Gold.
